Bhubaneswar: A deadlock in the assembly continued for the seventh consecutive day since the beginning of the session on December 1 at the request of opposition to solving the Minister of State (House) on Shankar Mishra for alleged involvement in murder of Mamita Meer.
The meeting of all parties held by Surya Narayan Patro speaker on Wednesday once again failed to break the deadlock when the opposition attached to the pastor in a junior house.

Moments after the Assembly gathered back for the day, BJP members and Congress once again caused slogans who were seeking Mishra’s resignation.
The BJD members also joined the bandwagon, showing placards with photos of Mamita’s murder accused of advocate Gobinda Sahu Mohan Lal Sharma with BJP leaders – Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, MP Basanta Panda and former BJP Head of the Country K v V Singhdeo.
The speaker first put off the house until 11:30 a.m.

BJD MLA Pratap Khari Deb said the party tried highlighting the BJP double standard.
“It stopped the house for Mamita’s murder while it had involved one of his party members (advocating Sharma) to fight for the defendant, Gobinda Sahu,” Deb said.
The opposition blamed the ruling party to create a commotion and not let the assembly run.
The opposition Head of Whip and BJP Mla Mohan Mohan said it might be a rare opportunity when the ruling party is a performance of protests in the assembly, time and again.
They were previously contrary to protests for the central rejection of the country’s request to announce Paika Bidroha as the first war of independence.
The Legislative Party leader Congress Narasingha Mishra said it would be wrong to blame the opposition to the chaos for two reasons.
“The government has fully ignored the opposition request for the debate about the murder of Mamita and BJD itself stopped the house with various pretensions.
