Odisha: Loco Poh’s Local Project is trapped in landlines

Bhubaneswar: The Indian train has gave sanctions at the Loco Overhauling Workshop on Electric Electric (POH) in Narla in the East Indonesia Regency in the 2017-18 budget with an estimated cost of RS 186.37 Crore.

Four years have passed, but project construction work cannot start.
The Minister of Railway Railway Ashwini Vaishnaw, answering the MP’s question by Basanta Kumar Panda to Lok Sabha on Wednesday that this project would make progress after the land was completed.
“Of the 328.35 hectares of land needed to arrange workshops and train connectivity, the state government of Odisha has submitted 141.07 hectares of land in four patches to the train,” he added.
The number of Rs 3.28 Crore has been allocated for the project to a budget of 2021-22, a reply to the UNI Minister.
A senior officer of the Ministry of Commerce and Transportation, said construction would take at least two to four years and the train had to start construction immediately after getting a large patch of land (141 hectares) for all factory sites at the cost of the state government.
He said the train had asked the land to connect the Narla station with a workshop.
“For this connectivity section, the state government has agreed to give the land for free.
But because of asking for most of the forest land, the legal procedure will be followed for forest transfer and other works according to the rules.
It will take time.
The train is not must wait for the connectivity so that it can occur later and match the progress time of the factory site, “he added.
