Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Lokayukta on Friday gave Clean Chit to Bishnupada Setyhi’s income secretary in a case related to medical replacement from Odisha State Cooperative Bank (OSCB).
SETHI has used RS 3.27 lakh medical replacement from the Bank between 2013 and 2015.
When filing a complaint before Lokayukta in 2019, Petitioner Srikanta Pakal accused that Sethi has issued a letter to the Implementing Director, OSCB, Bhubaneswar for replacing medical bills to RS Tone 1, 5 lakh by misusing his strength.
“Sethi has also resigned other medical bills on a different date of Rs 9, 46,273 without the OSCB council’s approval,” the Petitioner said.
Further Pakal accused that bureaucrats have incorrectly returned the medical bill from OSCB funds even though he was not a regular employee employee.
After hearing both parties, the anti-corruption supervisor had directed the demand director, Lokayukta, to ask questions to this problem and submit the report.
Director of the request submitted his report on April 9.
The report found that the charges of complainants against Sethi for replacement of RS 9.46.071 were factually wrong.
Sethi has changed the total number of Rs 3.27,000 legally for the treatment of his father and wife after obtaining permission from the state government.
The demand director stated that Sethi as the servant of the government was involved throughout the time in connection with OSCB affairs.
That’s why he has the right to receive bonus payments under the rules of 54 (a) of the staff rules of staff, 1980.
Even the Minister of Cooperation (Competent Authority) in his comments has confirmed that Sethi works full time for OSCB from February 6, 2013 to 28 July 2015, report said that.
Lokayukta observed that the allegations did not have a basis and reject the same thing.
Apart from the discovery of the investigation director said his favorable, Sethi as Gesture Goodwill has returned the number of Rs 3.27 lakh to OSCB on June 25 by making a payment through three examinations with the same date.
“We appreciate Sethi’s behavior and state governments can consider transforming medical bills in question according to the rules.
Since SETHI has returned the amount of medical replacement, we did not find a good place to think more about the allegations of miscellaneous medical bills by it.
Complaints are closed and submitted,” Read order.
