CORAPUT: Binita Dash from Nabarangpur Regency is among 29 children from all countries awarded with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) -2022 by PM Narendra Modi in a virtual ceremony held on the occasion of the National Girl on Monday, Report S Satyanarayan Pattnik.
Binita, a class XI student from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh was chosen for awards under the innovation category to find an asteroid under the Asteroid Khagolshala search campaign, which was held in collaboration with NASA and IASC.
“Since childhood, I was interested in Space Science and wanted to pursue my career in this field.
Asteroids found by me will be named in my opinion,” Binita said.
“I am a science lover and I am very interested in innovation,” he added.
