Odisha: Offline PG, UG class from August 16

Bhubaneswar: Given the increase in the Covid situation in the state, the Ministry of Higher Education on Friday direct the state university and the college level to begin teaching physical classes for elementary and undergraduate students (UG) (UG) (UG) (forbid 2020-21 UG students First year) from August 16.
“Since the last year / examiner of the semester students have begun or will soon begin, there is no necessity for teaching physical class 2020-21 PG and the last year of PG and UG students.

Official sources said the department has enabled state universities and autonomic colleges to make the right decisions to conduct semester / annual examinations through online / offline mode or blendon for students left in year / semester.
PHD teaching and research activities, MPHIL and other research research will also be started in physical mode starting August 16, if it hasn’t started.
But the hostel will open from August 14 only for those who teach the class will begin in physical mode from August 16.
This will be opened for PhD, MPhil and other research scholars too.
According to standard operating procedures (SOP), teachers or staff or students living in the active detention zone will not be allowed to enter universities or colleges.
