BHUBANESWAR: Using Cyclone Yaas inching nearer to the Odisha shore, the state authorities on Monday deployed senior IAS and IPS officials in addition to officials and engineers from other divisions in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada and Mayurbhanj districts to oversee the rescue and recovery actions. Adequate quantities of physicians, also, have already been sent into Balasore and Bhadrak in which the cyclone is very likely to cause the most damage. Sports secretary Vishal Dev and inspector general of police (eastern array ), Diptesh Pattanayak, are delegated the job of overseeing the operations in Balasore. Food provides secretary V Yadav and inspector general of police (crime branch), Amitendra Nath Sinha, could seem after Bhadrak. Industries secretary Hemant Sharma along with deputy inspector general (central array ), J N Pankaj, are shipped to Kendrapada.
