Bhubaneswar: Academy of State Police Biju Patnaik Odisha (BPSPA) has won the UNI Ministry of Home Trophy for the Best Police Training Institute in the officer category issued for 2020-21.
The Academy will get the help of Rs 20 Lakh from the National Center for Recognition of Level.
“Recognition encourages us to fight for further excellence.
Over the past few years, many qualitative improvements have been brought in police training,” said Arun Sarangi, Additional DG and Director of BPSPA.
This award was given in three categories of central police organizations, the National Police Organization at the national level and the state police organization at the zonal level.
PSPA has won zonal level trophies in the East Zone for 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2018-2019 and 2019-2020.
