Bhubaneswar: The news portal editor on Friday was arrested for publishing the content of slanderous and obscene about the Dutee Chand sprinter, which, he accused, has “affected” his appearance at the Tokyo Olympics who had just been held.
“We have detained Sudhansu Rout for interrogation after registering a case against him based on Dutee’s complaints.
He accused his Rout and Reporter Smruti Ranjan Behera to bring fake news and defame him Uma Shankar Dash to Toi.
Dutee has been looking for an arrest of Rout.
“News slandered Row and Social Activists Pradip false accusations of Pradhan against me on social media encouraged me into deep stress and affected my performance at the Olympics,” alleged Dute.
In his complaint, Dutee further said that wrinkles had accused him of spoils unpleasant actions rather than focusing on the performance of his Olympics.
He accused him of demanding money from him because he did not publish the news.
Pradhan allegedly installed a social media post, said the Dute wasted government money in Tokyo.
“I represent the country at the Olympics.
Fake and obscene portraits from me on the news website and social media tarnish my picture.
I also filed a lawsuit against the editor of the news portal,” Dutee said.
Losing and Pradhan are not available for their comments.
The police said Pradhan would be questioned when he was named in FIR.
They have been ordered below section 292 (2) circulation of obscene materials, 354-a (sexual abuse), 385 (placing people in fear of injury to extortion), 506 (criminal intimidation), 509 (words or movements intended to insult The simplicity of women), 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and section 6 indecent representation of female laws (ban), 1986.
