Bhubaneswar: Jatni Congress MLA Suresh Kumar Rautray (76), who was positively tested for Covid-19 on Wednesday, aroused sharp criticism for allegedly violating home isolation norms and visited public places on Thursday.
After learning about Rautray Contracting Covid, Head of Minister of Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday took it to Twitter and hoped he was fast recovery.
Rautray, Mla six times, reportedly triggered panic among people when he appeared outside Jayadev Bhawan, where he hangout morning daily.
When people look to maintain the distance from him, Rautray told them not to be afraid when the infection was light.
Rautray, who usually does not wear a mask and so far claims that Covid-19 will not attack him, appearing near Jayadev Bhawan, wrap his mouth with a piece of cloth.
The source said he visited the Bhawan Congress here and interacted with several visitors on Thursday afternoon.

This infection is light and I am fully vaccinated,” Rautray can be heard said in the video by observers arrested outside Jayadev Bhawan and circulating on social media.

“We have never expected stupid behavior from selected representatives.
