Bhubaneswar: As the election of Panchayat near Odisha, Maois put up a poster in two more places on Saturday asking people to boycott polls.
The five phase selection is scheduled from 16 to 24 February.
Police sources said Maoist banners were seen displayed in the premise of the Radiguma elementary school under the Kandagada police station in Kandagada District.
Poster, said by the CPI Committee (Maois), asked people to boycott the election and build a revolutionary government by the people.
Another similar poster, Paper handwriting, Di Bhabanipur, 5 km east of Ladydom District Headquarters Bhawanipatna Brings a similar message.
Security forces have intensified search operations.
Poster has reappeared a day after DGP Sunil Bansal review the situation of the left wing extremism in Malkangiri and Corraput and appeal the red rebels to join the mainstream with violence.
A 20-year-old Grazier livestock died in an Eid explosion triggered by alleged Maois at Kiamunda under the Pheiria police station in Kandhamal District on February 9 near the posters who boycotted sound.
A journalist, Rohit Biswal (47), died in a similar explosion in the catananda on February 5 while trying to take a poster photo of ‘poll’ Maois.
Ultras has installed posters and banners in Goddown, Kandhamal, Coraput, Malkangiri and Bargarh on the last few days.
