Bhubaneswar: Because the castle prepares to welcome tourists after the Fresh Covid open guide, the district police have identified 15 hotspots, including the coastal area, which has been opened for visitors, to carry out consciousness and enforcement of drives.
The government on Saturday announced people’s access to the beach in Odisha from Sunday as part of the Covid Unlock Guidelines for August.
“We expect more people, especially tourists in Puri, because the beach is open now.
Bus Stands and shopping centers are also between 15 hotspots that we have for tighter supervision.
We will adopt a three-branch strategy to create more awareness, being More persuasive and ensure the enforcement of rules in these places, “said Puri SP Kanwar Vishal Singh.
The city of pilgrims are beyond the tourists since a week before Rath Yatra, which began on July 12, until Niladri Bije on July 23.
The district government has forbade worshipers to participate in Covid.

“We have tweaked the strategy for enforcing Covid prevention steps considering the new rules and opening guidelines.
Tourists, who tend to flock to the castle now, will be pursued first with the need to take safety prevention measures.
Travelers are also sensitive,” Singh said.
Police, together with the District Administration, will conduct a conscious campaign through the public address announcement system in 15 hotspots.
Hospitality owners, owners of shopping centers and other stakeholders will be persuaded to ensure compliance with Covid behavior.
The stern legal action will be taken against violators, police said.
“We have also asked inspector-responsible for police stations and sub-division police officers to ensure supervision and compliance with the rules.
We appeal to everyone to strictly follow the guidelines,” Singh said.
