Bhubaneswar: Five districts – Balalangir, Salangir, Subarnapur, Nuuada and Kandhamal – reported zero covid infection on Sundays even when the country added 805 fresh cases from between 72,412 tested samples.
The state saw 131 children again infected.
“We are testing 2,400 samples every day, but the results are almost two to three cases restore positive.
Most urban centers and rural bags have witnessed zero infection,” said Collector District (Balangir) Chanchal Rana.
Khurda Regency reported the most number (346) cases with Bhubaneswar added 143 of them to 159 recovery.
The Cuttack District Daily Caseload remains around 100 with Cuttack City watching around 30 cases every day.
As many as 11 districts now have active cases under 50 with gajapati have the lowest (8).
The state confirmed seven Covid deaths again, took the victim to 8,047.
