Bhubaneswar: The number of new Covid Infection Daily Odisha fell below 200 signs after a nine-day gap because the country recorded 185 new cases on Monday took the calculation to 10,45,656 while the two new fatalities pushed the death koronavirus at 8,379, a health department official said.
185 new cases include 35 children and adolescents in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
The rate of infection among children and adolescents is now at 18.91 percent against the previous day 16.03 percent.
The country on November 5 has reported 170 new cases.
While the number of new cases on Sunday was 262, he stood on 247 on Saturday, 263 on Friday, 271 on Thursday and 387 on Wednesday.
Of the 185 new cases, Khurda District where the country’s capital of Bhubaneswar was part reported 76 of the highest cases followed by 18 in Sambalpur and 14 in Cuttack.
Twelve districts did not report new cases for the last 24 hours.
When 185 people were tested positive for infections of 56,857 samples tested on Sunday, the positive rate of the Daily Test (TPR) rate was 0.32 percent.
TPR was 0.43 percent on Sunday, 0.40 percent on Saturday, 0.39 percent on Friday, 0.43 percent on Thursday and 0.60 percent on Wednesday.
The health welfare department and family told that two patients from Khurda Regency including a 66-year-old woman from Bhubaneswar, surrendered to infection taking victims of Covid’s death to 8,379 on Monday.
It’s separate, 53 other Covid patients also died of comorbidity, he said.
The current country has 2,719 active cases while 10,34,505 patients have recovered from disease, including 205 on Sundays.
Odisha has so far done more than 2.28 crore sample tests including 56,857 on Sundays.
The level of country’s position is at 4.56 percent.
As many as 1,35.16,227 people have been fully inspired by the covid-19 vaccine dose.
