Bhubaneswar: The country on Friday asked the government-managed college teacher here to register for online refresher courses.
The last date for registration is September 15.
The Ministry of Higher Education has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Human Resource Development Center, Savitribai Phule Pune University, for online refreshment courses approved by the University Grant Commission.
The purpose behind the introduction of courses is to improve and improve the knowledge and skills of the faculty of teaching.
While registration for courses began on September 1, college teachers can still enroll for it by visiting the website https://hrdc.unipune.ac.in.
“With the registration deadline to September 15, the government-managed educational and training institutions have been asked to communicate with their teachers about the start of the course,” read a letter from the Ministry of Higher Education.
Officials say participating teachers do not need to pay for courses because the Department of Higher Education will bear all the costs.
Classes for courses tend to be held start at 14:15 to 7.15 PM.
There will be three sessions 90 minutes a day every week, except Sundays.
While the participants will carry out regular college assignments until 1:00 p.m., the Principal has been asked not to determine any work to them after completing the course.
Teachers can attend courses from their homes or colleges, according to their convenience.
After successfully completing the course, the certificate with the value will be issued for the participants.
“If a registered teacher fails to attend a course without a legitimate reason or secure the minimum value as determined by the Savitribai Phule Pune University, the costs incurred by the department for the program will be restored from the concerned,” read official communication.
