Bhubaneswar: The State Government will issue separate data from Daily Covid infections among the age group 0-18 in the Covid dashboard from weeks amid predictions of children and adolescents which are likely to bear the possible third wave burden.
The accuracy of the government to separate data for its own understanding and also for larger public awareness appearing behind the second wave stretch too far.
This step also coincides with three children being beaten by Covid who were brought to Vimsar, Burla in serious conditions.
“Data separated will be generated to understand the severity with the virus affecting the population under 18 years.
It will also help hospitals and health delays make the intervention strategy accordingly,” said Pradipta Kumar Health Secretary (Health) Mohapatra.
The source of the Ministry of Health said patient hospitalization under 18 years, the severity and recovery will be prepared for the health administrator at the district level.
