Bhubaneswar: Yajna three days began near Jagannath Temple in Puri on Monday ahead of the start of the ceremony on Wednesday from Shree Mandir Parikrama Yojana.
Chairman of Minister of Naveen Patnaik, Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanda Saraswati and Puri Raja Dijasingha Deb is among officials who will attend the event.
Chief Secretary of the Suresh Chandra Mahapatra and Personal Secretary of Minister’s Chief V K Pandian visited Puri and oversee preparation on Monday.
Mahapatra and Pandian spoke to Krisan Kumar, Head of the Shree Administrator Jagannath Temple Administrator, Puri Distrect Collector Samarth Verma and Canar Police Inspector Vishal Singh to ensure smooth behavior.
“All preparations have been made for Shilanyas Utsaav on Wednesday.
The laying ceremony of the foundation stone will be held on schedule,” said Secretary’s Chief.
Kumar said landowners, who donated their efficacy to the government for the implementation of the inheritance corridor project, will be ordered at the event.
“We will place the project model in Shilanyas Utsav.
Shilanyas Utsav will continue for about two hours.
Darshan Dewa in the temple will remain unaffected,” Kumar said.
Adequate police forces have been deployed on the Yajna site and Shilanyas Utsaav’s place near the 12th century temple.
The Temple government has received certificates without objections (NOC) from the National Monument Authority (NMA) for smooth project implementation.
Implemented at a cost of almost Rs 800 Crore within a 75-meter radius of the temple, the inheritance corridor project imagined the development of Mutt, the reception center, facilities for worshipers and security for the temple.
This project is part of the augmentation of basic facilities and the development of a legacy and architectural scheme (Abada) which aims to develop castle to world-class heritage.
The government has bought land from 115 families around the temple to carry out projects.
