Odisha: Youth raised himself, died of burns on the Ganjam

Religious: A 25-year-old young man who has gone to the police station in Ganjam Regency on Monday night to complain that his life was suspected of being dangerous, died of burns the day after he burned himself.
The deceased was identified by police as Santosh Samantara from Randha Village here.
The police said he was repeatedly asked to file a written complaint, including the names of people suspected of threatening him.
However, he left the Goldanthara police station and returned after burning himself by pouring gasoline, they added.
Police personnel were present at the place to try to extinguish the fire.
He rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here and then shifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
He gave up on his wounds on Tuesday.
Additional SP (mixed) Ramesh Chandra Sethi said, “What makes him take extreme steps that have not been confirmed.”
