Bhubaneswar: To promote the electronic and electronic manufacturing sector in the state, the State Cabinet on Tuesday approved the Odisha-2021 electronic policy, the first policy in the state.
“This policy has been conceptualized to position Odisha as an attractive goal for the electronics industry by providing a friendly and proactive industrial climate with upper class infrastructure, supporting facilities and policy initiatives,” said Manoj Mishra’s electronic electronics.
This policy aims to promote innovation in the electronics sector and increase the availability of skilled workers with a focus on fostering the culture of research, innovation and entrepreneurship by building an interlinked ecosystem-professional-professional-professional academic system and to ensure MSME growth, Mishra said, said Mishra .
This guarantees that capital investment subsidies remain from RS 10 Crore to Rs 250 Crore to the Design and Electronic System Manufacturing Unit (ESDM).
In addition, it also guarantees production incentives.
This policy also offers incentives in other areas such as power, land, assistance for female entrepreneurs and people with disabilities and incentives for local companies.
Another benefit guaranteed by the policy includes producing incentives and replacing green power and replacement of GST power.
A committee led by the Head of State Secretary will be formed to monitor its implementation, the official source said.
In another major decision, the State Cabinet also approved a proposal to change the 2015 industrial policy resolution to provide special incentives for “new mega industries” such as car manufacturing, green energy, electronics and telecommunication equipment manufacturing units, textiles, textiles, units that can be Used and baggage, medicine, capital goods, Aerospace and defense manufacturing units.
“Because these sectors have great potential to contribute to the economic and social development of the state, the amendment has been made.
The amendment in this IPR will attract the mega investment category mentioned above to the state with investment ranging from Rs 300 Crore to Rs 1000 Crore by Each unit, “said an industrial department official.
Artisan Odisha Class Stone Policy, 2021 also received a cabinet nod that aims to ensure estimated demand-supply, identification of stone sources, extraction and stone supply to different users of the category.
It will also prevent mining illegal artisan classes in the state and motivate craftsmen to continue their traditions.
