Ludhiana: Tripta Rani, a major education officer (BPEO) Ludhiana-1, has been given a national award for innovation and good practices in the education administration by the Workers Government.
He is the only one from Ludhiana to receive honor.
The gift will be given on January 26 in Delhi, but its function is held online considering the covid pandemic.
Tripta, a resident of Sahnewal, said, “I praise this achievement to my teachers who tried every possible way to attract children to government schools.” With only 2 months left for his retirement, he said, “I have worked hard to see my district shining in the state and country.” Taking credit to transform more than 50 government schools, Rani said, “All 52 schools in my block are SMART schools with LED projectors.
In 2021-2022 entrance tickets, blocks have witnessed an increase in registration of 24%.
I also helped raise funds worth RS 1.2 Crore to renew the Kanganwal Elementary School of the Government.
