Official: Afghan Delegation, Taliban to speak peacefully in Qatar

KABUL: The delegation of a high-powered Afghan government, which will cover the head of the country’s reconciliation council, is to meet the Taliban in Doha to begin a traffic jammed peace process, said Afghan official Tuesday.
Taliban is expected to bring their senior leaders to the table when the two parties meet, maybe on Friday, said officials spoke with anonymous conditions because they were not authorized for a short reporter.
The Taliban maintains a political office in the capital of Qatar Doha.
A new push to reach a peace agreement arose when the US ended his military presence in Afghanistan.
The US commander who came out Gen Scott Miller recently warned that increasing violence seriously hurt Afghan’s opportunities to find a peaceful end for decades of war.
At the same time, the Taliban fighters had controlled the country’s big plots.
Although the exact number of districts now under the control of Taliban is unknown, it is believed they are now ruling in more than a third of 421 districts and the center of Afghan district.
Some strategic districts, bordering Iran, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
Surge has also exposed weakness in Afghan national security and defense forces.
Many districts fell without fighting and more than 1,000 soldiers escaped to Tajikistan.
There are repeated repeated troops that are not repaired or left without reinforcements.
They are often defeated and lost by their enemies of Taliban.
DOHA talks will be led by senior government official Abdullah Abdullah, who heads the Afghan reconciliation council.
Former President Hamid Karzai is also expected to be among the delegates.
Negotiations were aimed at ending the increasing violence since the US signed an agreement with the rebel movement in February last year.
Karzai asked the government not to miss the opportunity and press forward towards peace.
He also expressed hope that one day Afghanistan would have a woman as president and urged women to stay in their work and continue their education.
“This country has everything, youth, educated people,” he said.
“I call the younger generation not to leave your country, stay here.

You must believe in your country, peace will come.” Thousands of Afghans try to leave the country in the midst of increasing anxiety about the future.
In a new sign of concern about what was in front, France urged its citizens to leave Afghanistan and announce it to arrange special flights to evacuate them from Kabul.
There is no indication of the French embassy will be closed.
Australia has closed the embassy.
While the US has seized the embassy staff, it was said that there were no plans to evacuate and announce their visa sections to be reopened after being temporarily closed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
, Also on Tuesday, an explosion rocked the capital of Kabul on Tuesday, killing four people and injuring 11 others, according to police spokesman Ferdaw Faramaz.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
The Taliban and the government accused each other to carry out attacks in the capital, while Islamic countries often was the only one who claimed the attack.
