Kanpur: To examine Cross Land Reality Works for Improvement of Kanpur Municipal Corporation (KMC), the senior administrative official team examined and examined six roads from three randomly selected zones.
KMC has around 1,219 roads with a total length of 737km.
In total, there are around 441 roads identified to improve work at the end of November.
In the first phase, 68 roads have been taken for road repairs.
Of the 68th, 53 roads have been completed, four are under repair and work at 11 have not started.
Likewise, 47 roads were taken in the second phase that tender was flexible.
The work will begin in the coming week.
During resting around 330 roads, the Improvement Project was proposed under the 15th financial commission budget.
The tender will soon float and work will begin in the first week of November and will be completed at the end of November.
Nagar Ayukt and Chief Engineer of KMC also accompanied the administrative official team.
Of the six roads checked by Commissioner, four roads were well repaired, while one road was not until the sign and each other was found in very bad conditions.
According to the Division Commissioner Raj Shekhar, “the quality of road repair works zone 5, Ward 9 of the Barra Sabji Market Chauraha – Vanghika shop – for Varun Vihar Tri-section, road 315 meters of poor quality.
The work cost is Rs 5.51 lakh.” Commissioner also Has issued direction to Nagar Ayukt to get a delayed job complete, besides finishing the job again from two roads above which was found not until the mark.
On one of the roads was found in bad conditions, the work was also poor quality after the Commissioner directed Nagar Ayukt and Nigar Nigar Nigar’s Chief Engineer to the Black Contractor SP Singh Constructions, in addition to providing entries involving JE Rakesh Gupta and to issue a notification event to Ae Harindra Prasad and EE Rajvir Singh.
He was also directed to resolve all repair work again in the next ten days and to report back to the commissioner’s office.
The Commissioner has also improved and has published a review and inspection date (two weekly departments) for road repair work from other departments, including the National Highway (NHAI), NH Division of PWD, Awaas Vikas, KDA, irrigation, irrigation, dept irrigation, bathing Parishad, Palika Nagar and Upside.
The Commissioner has also established control room to monitor road repair work and has issued a Helpline NoSAPP number for public information for road repair work from all 6 Kanpur division districts.

The commissioner further informs that the Helpline Road repair has received 177 complaints / complaints Request in one day on Saturday.
