Offline class for standard 1 to 9 starts tomorrow in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Gujarat joined countries such as Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, and Kerala at the Opening School Re-Opening for Low Standards Classes (Class 1 to 9) from February 7, the state government notification has asked the school also continued with online classes and have provided choices to parents whether to send their children to school or not.
The government has stopped in-person education (offline) on January 7 because of the increase in Covid cases.
Schools have begun in November 2021.
In less than two months, the offline class was stopped.
The central government in an advisor on February 3 recommends the reopening of the school with Covid guidelines.
The Minister of State Education Minister Vaghani said that the decision was taken after consulting all stakeholders.
School management has welcomed the decision, saying that he will streamline education because students will be better placed to prepare for their last test.
Schools say that the presence in online class has declined steadily.
“Offline education closure also has an impact on students – we witness some cases of anger, frustration and lack of concentration, especially among adolescent populations,” said Dr.
Nehal Shah, a city-based psychiatrist.
Meanwhile, the case continued to slide in the country with infection almost twice in three days – from 8,934 at 2 to 4,710 in February 5.
Eight major cities contributed 61% of cases – only Ahmedabad which recorded more than 1,000 cases at 1.451.
Of the eight cities, six shows a downward trend.
However, mortality remains high at the death of 34 patients – the ninth day in a row of 30 or more daily deaths.
A little more than a month after school for grade 1 to 9 was suspended, the state government announced on Saturday that the classroom would be reopened for students on Monday.
It is hoped that the management of parents and schools welcomed the decision, said that it would streamline education because students would be better placed to prepare their last examination.
The Minister of Education and Executing Education Vaghani said the decision was taken after consultation with stakeholders.
While in-alert schools will continue with strict compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, schools have been asked to continue online education as well, implying that sending wards to school will be optional for parents.
School management said they would look for approval letters from parents who sent their children to school.
When the government has gradually opened schools, class 1 to 9 is the last opened, in November 2021.
Less than two months later, on January 3, the government was again suspended directly to the school for this class followed a surge in Covid-19 cases.
However, many schools adopted a wait-and-watch approach, because the number of new Covid-19 cases reported was still quite high.
However, most schools plan to continue their education directly by calling 50% of students on one day and another 50% the following day.
School management said that before suspension of school in-people for grade 1 to 9 on January 3, schools saw a good presence in these classes.
On Saturday, 4,710 new Covid-19 cases were registered in the state.
