Ohri and Gupta Transferred, Noida & GZB Get new CMOS

Noida: In a large shift at various levels in the Ministry of Health in all the states, the Head of Medical Officer of Gautam Budh Nagar, Dr.
Deepak Ohri, has been replaced by Dr.
Sunil Sharma who took over on Friday.
Cmziabad CMO Dr.
NK Gupta, together with Dr Ohri, has been transferred as director with the National Health Mission, Saharanpur.
Gupta was replaced by Dr.
Bhavtosh Shankhdhar, who was Cmo Bulandshahar before.
Shankhdhar will be responsible on Saturday.
As many as 51 CMOS from all countries have been transferred in an effort to be prepared before possible third covid waves.
In addition, more than 100 ACMOS and 1,800 clerical staff and assistants have also been transferred.
The Head of the Medical Supervisory of the District Hospital in Noida Dr.
Renu Aggarwal has also been moved, and Dr.
Sushma Chandra from the Jhansi District Hospital will take over as a new CMS.
Dr.
Sharma has transferred from the previous position as ACMO in Meerut, where it has a key role in Covid management and a complaint’s demonstration committee formed to overcome complaints later.
Sharma said that ensuring the next covid wave handled easily was the priority at GB Nagar.
He added that people do not need to panic because the department has ensured the security of oxygen and enough pediatric infrastructure.
“While we are preparing for the third wave, various estimates show that only 10-12% of all patients will become children.
Because children have better immunity, more than 95% of them will not need hospitalization.
We have Enough infrastructure for these patients in noida and do not need to panic that is not necessary about pediatric patients, “Dr Sharma told Toi.
However, based on case projections, more beds will be added to covid, he added.
“Compared to other districts, GB Nagar’s medical infrastructure is very good.
There are five oxygen plants with more than 1000 functional LPM capacity now, and other smaller ones too.
It’s not seen in other districts.
We also have a very good private hospital , and I will work on better coordination with them, “he said.
Dr.
Sharma also said that he would increase the focus on other infectious diseases as well and would try to build a system for regular feedback from residents.
