Religious: Branch of Odisha Police Crime, who investigated the death of forest conservator assistant (ACF), Paralakhemundi, on Friday interrogated Mamata Panda, officers responsible for the Gurbandi Police Station in Paralahhemundi.
There were accusations against Mamata that he held the ambulance carrying ACF, Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra, for Cuttack on July 12 after the forest officer suffered burns injured in his residence, the day before he gave up injury.

Previously, they interrogated the driver of an ambulance and aide, doctor, who initially treated forest officers and Tehsildar of Paralahhemundi, who were present during the dying declaration.
Forest officers suffered injuries in his official quarter on July 12 and died in a private hospital in Cuttack on July 13.
His wife was present at home during the incident.
The deceased father, Abbiram Mohapatra, accused that his son was killed.
After a month of investigation by the POLIKHEMUNDI Polda, the crime branch took over investigations into the case of the published MUC recently.
