Oil Furnace Posphere: Six booked, RS 35 Lakh Value of Goods Confiscated in Karnataka

Mangaluru: The police damaged the main furnace oil racket near Mannugundi in Kaukrady Village below the uppinangady police limit on Tuesday.
Six people have been ordered in this matter and the goods worth 35.2 lakh has been confiscated.
Police said furnace oil was collected from a ply tanker between Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway-75.
Tanker drivers are used to sell small furnace oil to accusations.
Arrest is Raghunathan, Mobthu Pandi, G Das, Singaraj, S Karthi and Selvaraj.
However, the main charges – Raghunathan and Pandi – escape.
The police confiscated 10,500 liters of furnace oil stored in two underground tanks.
They also confiscated two tankers loaded with furnace oil, bicycles, cellphones, RS 24,000 cash, and several documents.
RAID was led by Gaana P Kumar, DSP Sub-Division of Putture, Kadaba Tahsildar and Mine Officials and Geological Departments.
Acting on the accepted tip-off, the team stormed a house in Mannugundi, which was a few meters from the national highway.
Found during the attack that the defendant had built two underground oil storage tanks on the lawn.
They keep stolen furnace oil in these tanks.
The police said there were several people and two trucks, loading and lowering stolen furnace oil.
They tried to escape from that place.
The police managed to catch six of them and two of them managed to escape.
The police said the defendant used to give money to display oil tanker drivers and eliminate 50 to 200 liters of oil from each tanker.
The driver will drive a vehicle to the place and lower the furnace oil.
Oil will be stored in two underground tanks.
Then it will be illegally transported to Tamil Nadu and other places.
The case has been registered at the Jurisdictional Police Station.
