GHAZIABAD: A 75-year-old girl and her son had been shot dead in their home early Monday in this area of Uttar Pradesh, authorities said. The incident happened about two am at Bamheta village at Kavi Nagar place when Ramshree along with also her son Narendra (38) were sleeping in the courtyard of the home, they also added. Upon hearing bullet shots, their neighbors reached the place and found that the bodies lying in a pool of blood, authorities said. The bodies have been sent to post-mortem, Superintendent of Police (town ) Nipun Agarwal explained. An FIR was lodged by Ramshree’s senior son, Sunder, against unidentified assailants, he explained, adding that the authorities are probing the situation from various angles such as a home dispute.
