NEW DELHI: A 62-year-old girl died supposedly after being attacked 20 days by a guy who also sexually attacked her in west Delhi’s Dallupura village, authorities said Monday.

The authorities obtained information regarding the episode on Sunday in Dharamshila Hospital.
“The authorities contacted the hospital and discovered that the neck of their victim, a resident of Dallupura village, was slit with a sharp-edged weapon plus there have been numerous harms marks on her belly.
She was declared brought dead, and” Deputy Commissioner of Police (east) Priyanka Kashyap stated.
A case under section 302 (murder) was enrolled in the New Ashok Nagar police station.
During analysis, authorities resisted that the CCTV footage from the region from where the girl was recovered along with the identity of detained has been created after which he was detained, the DCP said.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to his offense.
The police also have recovered the knifeofficers explained, including that the accused asserted that he had been in an inebriated state throughout the episode, authorities said without providing further information regarding the accused.
The accused slit her throat then chased 20 days, they explained, adding that it also is apparently an instance of sexual intercourse.
The body was sent into Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital to its post-mortem, the authorities said.
The girl’s son said he arrived home after finishing his obligation hours as a safety guard in Noida and entered the home he found his mother lying in a pool of blood.
The girl was from Begusarai from Bihar and also used to reside in Dallupura village together with her son and grandson, authorities said.
She was able to sell vegetables close to her home.
On Sunday, she’d taken her out vegetable cart together with her grandson and went back to cook meals, authorities said.
