Washington: President Joe Biden put the dose of star strength behind administrative efforts to get young people who were vaccinated against Covid-19.
The White House said that the 18-year-old actress, singer and songwriter Olivia Rodrigo will meet on Wednesday with Biden and Dr.
Anthony Fauci, Head of the President’s Advisor.
Rodrigo will record videos about the importance of vaccinated young people.
Videos will be displayed on Rodrigo social media and the White House.
While administration has managed to vaccinate older Americans, young adults show less urgency to get shots.
Rodrigo’s visit was first announced on Instagram with a photo of a young Biden and the President asked for help to make other young people vaccinated.
Rodrigo replied: “I entered.
I’ll see you tomorrow at the White House! ”
