Oly silver medal auction for funding baby surgery

Only two weeks after he won his first Olympic medal – Silver – at the Tokyo Olympics, Thravelin Thrower Polish Maria Andrejczyk put his ownership to be auctioned when he saw the face of Miloszek Malysa eight months old.
The baby has serious heart disease and requires urgent operation.

Miloszek’s parents, therefore, runs online fundraising for their children because they need 1.5 million Zloty Polish ($ 385,000) for its operations.

Maria has missed a medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics with only 2 cm.
In 2018, he was diagnosed with bone cancer and at that time his dream won a medal at the Tokyo Olympics seemed far away.
He did not need chemotherapy but the operation was carried out and gradually he recovered.
In the Tokyo match, he threw 64.61 m to win the silver medal behind the winner of the China Gold Medal Shiying Liu (66.34m).
Even though his appearance in Tokyo was close to his heart, Maria decided to put auction medal to save life.
“The real value of the medal always remains in the heart.

This silver can save lives, instead of collecting dust in the closet.
