Tokyo: The Indian Male Archery Team from Pravin Jadhav, Asan and Tarundeep Rai lowered Kazakhstan 6-2 to form a quarter-final clash against Korean heavyweight at the Tokyo Olympics here on Monday.
The Indians are strong, especially Asan Das who drilled in five perfect 10s during a team’s easy victory in the 1/8 elimination in Yumenoshima Park.
Kazakhstan Troika from Denis Gankin, Ilfat Abdullin, Sanzhar Mussayev showed a flash of brilliance.
They took the third set with a one-point margin.
India on Saturday lost to Korea in their favorite mixed partner section.
