Enoshima: Indian sailor Wisnu Saravanan and Nethra Kumanan finished far behind the leaders when they ended at point 22 and 33 in their respective events after six races at the Tokyo Olympics here on Tuesday.
Saravanan finished the 23rd and 22 in the fifth and sixth race at the men’s laser program while 32 and 38 in two races from the female laser radial event held at Harbor Enoshima Yacht on Tuesday.
Four more races and medal races remain in the Indian competition and Duo is far behind ranked.
Each event consists of a series of races.
Points in each race are given according to the position: the winner gets one point, the second finisher score and so on.
The last race is called a medal race, which is a multiple points.
After a medal, individual or crew with a total of the least points stated as a winner.
Race medals from laser laser women and men lasers will be held on August 1 after 10 races.
