Chennai: Minister of Nadu Tamil M K Stalin on Friday welcomed the Indian women’s hockey team for their appearance at the Tokyo Olympics and said that their efforts were not damaging to the end of no less than medals.
Stalin tweeted, “The performance of the Indian women’s hockey team in Tokyo is no less than those who produce medals.
I congratulate each of our team members to take India to the semi-finals for the first time at the Olympics and for their unbroken efforts to the end.” The woman’s team lost her game for a bronze medal against England.
