Dubai: Oman on Thursday extended the night lock to contain the spread of Coronavirus, with commercial movements and activities to be limited between 10pm and 4 in the morning until further notice, the government said.
Cases in the country around 4.5 million people, who continue to impose commercial movements and restrictions through a pandemic, have begun to rise again after showing a solid fall since mid-June.
Oman has been in the past two months accelerating what is the launch of the vaccine no later than the bay.
In mid-April, Oman had given at least one dose of around 5% of the qualified population.
This increased to 35% on July 8, according to the Ministry of Health data.
Oman on Wednesday recording 295,535 cases of Coronavirus and 3,802 deaths.
