Oman urged residents to be evacuated as a tropical storm Shaheen strengthened

Authorities in Oman urged thousands of residents in coastal areas to leave their homes and go to an emergency shelter on Saturday when the Gulf State prepares for Shaheen tropical storms to intensify into the tropical cyclone Category 1.
Oman’s National Committee for emergency management calls for evacuation in the country The northern part of Barka and the stock and coastal areas are part of the capital, Muscat, where Shaheen is expected to attack on Sunday, bringing strong winds and heavy rain.
Most of five million people export oil lives in and around Muscat.
Oman’s civil aviation authority said on Friday expected Shaheen to strengthen into the category 1 tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours, estimate the coarse ocean and urge residents to distance themselves from the area beats.
