The presence of security forces has been strengthened in Srinagar after a surge in terrorist attacks recently.
PDP President Mehbooba Mufti also attacked the government forgotten, and said every day the law of “Draconian” was brought with the only purpose “dead limp” to be silent.
“After placing a security bunker at every corner & corner of Srinagar, the CRPF personnel have been pushed into the wedding room which is the only personal space left for people here.
Every day more Draconian laws are brought with the only goal of making The person is limp, “he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu raised a problem with the Division administration to explore alternative options for security personnel housing.
He said Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) was not consulted about this issue.
“Having spoken with the Kashmir Division Commissioner, Pole SB regarding the issue of the SMC Community Hall available for CRPF …
SMC did not consult this decision,” he tweeted.
Mattu noted that the integral community space of social and community functions, and built in areas where people do not have large homes and pages.
“They, therefore, are the needs of the community.
Much money has been spent on their construction, maintenance and maintenance,” he said.
The mayor said the Kashmir Division Commissioner had convinced him that “alternative options will be explored”.
“I’m very urgent for this.
It is very important that the community facilitation services are not hampered.
This will be a very large inconvenience for people and also summatize legal and order steps,” he said.
Mattu stated that the CRPF personnel deployed in Srinagar must have decent and appropriate housing facilities, but the community room must be left for public services.
“This is not a political problem – and it should not be distorted like that,” he added.
Public Relations Officer (PRO), CRPF, Abiram Pankaj said additional troops from within Kashmir Valley were deployed in the city considering the requirements.
“Rationalization has occurred.
These troops come from North and South Kashmir,” he said.
Asked why the troops were placed at the Community Hall, the official said the places to accommodate troops were chosen by civil administration.
“The CRPF will be deployed on the orders of civil administration.
They put us in the place they chose,” he added.
