Mumbai: The police on Friday imposed part 144 Criminal Code Procedure (CRPC) within Mumbai Comperctions, prohibiting demonstrations and parade protests involving people and vehicles for the next two days, after the cases of Omicron variants.
Orders, issued by DCP (operation), will be valid for 48 hours on Saturday and Sunday, said an official.
According to the order, violators will be punished under IPC Part 188 and other legal provisions.
