New Delhi: An ICMR study has found that individuals infected with Omicron variants have a significant immune response that can neutralize not only these tensions but also others, including the most common Delta variants, made a re-infection with the latter, thus transferring it as a dominant tension .
Research, which had not reviewed peer-reviewed and released on the Biorxiv Pracrint Server on January 26, emphasized the need for omicron special vaccine strategies.
This study was conducted at 39 individuals – 25 of which had taken the astrazeneca vaccine dose, eight doses of Pfizer Jab and six were not vaccinated.
Also, 28 of 39 are people who have returned from various countries such as the UAE, USA, and the United Kingdom, and 11 are their high-risk contacts.
Everything is infected with the Omicron variant.
The main limitations of this study were small samples of unvaccinated groups and short window periods after infection.
