Omicron is not cold, warns the government; 300 districts see more than 5% 7-day positive pace

New Delhi: India witnessed the growth rate of “phenomenal high” in the case of Covid-19 with 300 districts that recorded a 5% weekly participation level, up from 78 regencies a week ago, officials said.
The surge in cases also proved because further circumstances reported a high case expense, with several included Uttar Pradesh (14 times), Bihar (11.27 times) and Madhya Pradesh (10.95 times) witnessed an exponential increase in the last case above week.
Supporting whose warnings, health officials in India urge people not to be satisfied and treat omicron infections as ordinary colds.
At present, 19 states have more than 10,000 active cases, such as against six countries like that only a week ago.
Even in Punjab, the current active case of 8.65 loads a week ago, while Rajasthan and Odisha have witnessed more than nine times a surge in active cases in a week.
Officials stated that while the Election Commission issued guidelines related to meetings and demonstrations, the Ministry of Health coordinates with EC and decisions will be taken based on how Covid situations developed.
Overall everyday case positivity rose to 11.05% from 1.1% in two weeks.
Countries that emerge from concerns that reported high positive levels including Maharashtra with a pioneering level of 22.39%, West Bengal 32.18%, Delhi 23.1% and rose 4.47%.
“Omicron is not an ordinary flu, can’t accept it lightly.
We need to be vigilant, will be vaccinated and follow the appropriate behavior of Covid,” said the member of the NTIS Aayog V K Paul.
“Understanding the disease of the Indian experience, it looks inpatient may be low but happens on a large scale.
We may not relax our readiness.”
