Lucknow: After a new threat from Covid-19 in the form of Omicron, the Government of Uttar Pradesh ordered an intensive screening and supervision along the state border.
Previously, screening of all passengers from countries where Omicron had reportedly been ordered.
Publishes instructions on Friday, CM Yogi Adityanath says that testing and sequencing genomes are the key to checking and limiting the spread of Covid-19.
An official spokesperson said CM had instructed to intensify the sequencing of Covid-19 samples.
Given the cm direction, the sequencing of the genome sample in Kgmu Lucknow and SGPGI is being carried out quickly.
“The authorities were also asked to continue the widespread cleanliness, sanitation, and drive fog to prevent the spread of other diseases,” officials said that the genome sequential facilities were available at five other laboratories, including IMS-BHU and CSIR Labs at the Lucknow and the RML Institute of Medical Sciences .
