Bengaluru: The Karnataka government on Sunday decided to clamp the 10-day night of 28 December and limit the entry into the hotel, bar and pub up to 50% for four days from December 30, given the cases of Spiking Omicron variants from Covid-19.
All commercial activities will be closed between 10pm to 5 in the morning from Tuesday to January 7, 2022.
Occupancy will be limited to 50% of the total capacity of hotel seating, restaurants, bars, pubs between December 30, 2022.
The government has also forbid a party to celebrate New Year and attendance at meetings, meetings, conferences and events including marriage have been limited to 300 people from Tuesday.
The film space has been spared from 50% occupancy clause, according to the guidelines issued by the government.
