New Delhi: The calculation of Omicron India rose to 1,889 on Monday with 176 fresh cases even as Spurt in a new infection encouraged Rajasthan to the country affected by the fourth worst after Maharashtra, Delhi and Kerala.
Rajasthan reported 53 new cases, the second high in the country on Monday after Maharashtra, which added 68 cases in its calculation.
Rajasthan has pushed Gujarat to fifth place in Tally Omicron.
Kerala added 29 cases on Monday while Gujarat and Karnataka each reported 16 and 10 cases.
For the second day in a row, Delhi did not report omicron cases.
With 68 new cases, Maharashtra’s calculation grew to 578, which accounted for almost 31% of India’s total cases.
Of the total confirmed cases, 259 has run out.
In Rajasthan, 43 of 53 new cases were reported at Jaipur.
While the state counting grew to 174, a health department official said 88 patients had been dismissed from the hospital.

Only 67 of them were active cases because 85 patients had recovered.
