On Kashmir’s visit, Rahul Gandhi offered a prayer at Durga Temple

Srinagar: On his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, the leader of the Rahul Gandhi Congress on Tuesday visited Kheer Bhawani Temple in Ganderbal Regency, officials said.
Rahul was visiting two days to Jammu and Kashmir and reached the temple located between the mighty Chinnings in the Tullamulla area in the Central Kashmir district in the morning, a Congress leader said.
C C Venugopal accompanied Gandhi to the famous Devi Rag temple known as Kheer Bhawani.
“This is a personal visit.
Rahul Ji wants to pay respect at the temple,” said the leader.
Leader and party support scores are waiting outside the temple complex to welcome the former president of Congress.
Gandhi is also scheduled to visit the Hazratbal Dargah Temple on the edge of Lake Dal here after a visit to the temple.
Congress MP has attended a wedding reception from the President of the Jammu Congress Committee and Kashmir Pradesh Ghulam Ahmad Mir at a luxury hotel here on Monday night.
At 11:30 on Tuesday, the MP Congress will inaugurate the Bhawan Congress at Ma Road in the heart of the city here.
“He will also interact with party leaders and workers in the party office,” added the Congress leader.
Gandhi will leave for Delhi later on Tuesday.
