On this day in 1987: Chetan Sharma took the first World Cup hat-trick

New Delhi: Today, 34 years ago, Chetan Sharma India clips history by becoming the first bowler to take the World Cup hat-trick.
This is also the first example of an Indian who takes a hat-trick in any game format.
Pacer right arm achieved the achievement during the stage match of the last Indian group against New Zealand in Nagpur on October 31, 1987 when the 42nd ended, he fired Ken Rutherford, Ian Smith and Ewen Chatfield on three important delirious ones at Pacure, games.
