Tendulkar collected the first of the 49th centuries in the match against Australia in Colombo, in his 79th game.
Master Blaster scored 110 escaping from 130 balls in an inning where there was no other Indian batsman that could pass a 50-run sign.
The innings play an important role in the team’s victory in the match, as India won by 31 Run.
Tendulkar was also awarded the match award player for his brilliant tap-studded with two six and eight four.
Tendulkar was lucky enough to get a century in the cricket test before ODIS.
At the age of 17 and 112 days, he became the third youngest batsman to score tons of tests.
He took eight test matches to bring up his first 100-plus score in international cricket, managing 119 did not release 189 balls in the last round, helping India draw against England.
