The Commission has banned the sale of liquor in hotels, restaurants and shops 48 hours before the election, which basically means the restaurant-bars in urban areas will be closed.
However, restaurants in the capital and several cities offer discounts to encourage people to choose in large quantities on Monday.

He further said that this is a city-based hotel in Panaji, Margao and Mapapa who are most likely to apply the offer on Monday.
“We are happy to give a 20% discount to anyone who comes to the restaurant with the voters’ Mark,” said Ashish Limesty, the owner Antares, Vagator.
Niyaaz, chain of restaurant specializes in Mughlai cuisine, will have a 10% flat discount just for eating customers.
“This time selection is very important, and our restaurant has been renamed with discussions with many of our Goan customers who discussed development politics.
When North Coo Collectorate asks us to offer discounts, we are more than happy to do it,” said the regional manager of Niyaaz Fauz Bagwan.
With the election date that coincides with Valentine’s Day, Joel huts in Betabatim have decided to offer young couples to date discounts, which will be calculated based on their bills.

Copper, known for Talis, was also eager to accommodate young couples in his restaurant.

In some cases, even takeaways take this initiative.
Koteshwar cuisine offers a 10% discount at Takeaway Outlet – Bicholim and Sanquelim.
