Once dipped, GZB log over 2k in 24 hours

Noida: The day after seeing less than 800 cases, Ghaziabad recorded a sharp surge in Covid infection adding 2,041 new patients in only 24 hours which pushed the level of pepititification of the test to more than 20%.
Wednesday, the district’s frontpiece was established at 21%.
On Tuesday, it dropped to around 9.8% after floating around 17-18% over the past few days, district health officials said.
The sharp increase in the case – around 38% increase from 793 cases recorded on Tuesday – can be associated with more tests carried out in the last 24 hours, officials said, adding that the infection is expected to go down for the next few days.
Gautam read Budh Nagar, who saw around 1,200 cases a day ago, added 1,402 more patients in the last 24 hours.
The level of participants in this district was around 21%.
Two NCR districts, together with Lucknow, continued to report on the section of the lion infection in Uttar Pradesh – the country recorded 17,776 new cases on Wednesday which pushed its active infection to 98,238.
, While seven deaths again raised the dead to 22,990.
State capital recorded a maximum of 3,517 new cases that day.
“GB Nagar reported 1,402 cases on Wednesday, compared to 1,262 on Tuesday and 2,158 on Monday.
These cases showed a downward trend from Monday and so on.
Also, vaccination drives have increased throughout the district,” ACMO, Gautam BUDH Nagar, Dr.
Lalit Kumar, told Toi.
A total of 14,437 vaccine doses were given on Wednesday, while prevention doses were given to around 15,541 people.
This district has almost 9,500 active cases.
In Ghaziabad, 35,308 people were vaccinated and the preventive dose was given to 20,555.
At present, 90 people undergo treatment at various medical facilities in Ghaziabad, while 7,811 people are monitored through house isolation.
In the last 24 hours, 1,262 tests were carried out at GB Nagar and 4,741 in Ghaziabad, officials said.
