Greater Noida: Garden maintenance in Greater Noida will now be handled through a tender process where three-four sectors will be beaten together and placed under one contractor for three years, officials said.
The contractor will be responsible for all jobs relating to the maintenance and development of the garden and green belt, in departing from practices currently hiring different players for various works.
This was done to improve accountability on one party for all areas such as fighting many previous parties who escaped with another blame, according to officials.
The move came amid increasing complaints from residents about the lack of garden maintenance, the central threshold and green belt.
And larger noida authorities have completed 22 tenders in various sectors.
Residents can complain about work weakness at WhatsApp number 8800203912 and at 0120-2336046-49.
“The condition of the park in the larger housing sector, Noida will increase because we have started a job through the composite tender plan (CTP).
Below, all jobs related to the maintenance of all the parks in one sector will be the same contractor’s responsibility,” said CEO of Narendra Bhoohan Gnida.
“Also, in the absence of too many parks in one sector, several sectors will be beaten together for their garden maintenance that will be handled by one contractor.
This will lead to better maintenance,” he added.
Although there were more than 250 parks throughout Greater Noida, officials stated that maintenance work was carried out by a different contractor.
While one contractor will handle greenery, the other will look into the maintenance of the limit wall.
Residents have welcomed moving.
“Many sectors have a garden that has a damaged swing, the bench has no maintenance work,” said Satendra Bhati, a resident.
