Mangaluru: The State Government will hold a one-day workshop for selected representatives from urban and rural city agencies in Dakshina Kannada Regency, to provide information about various social welfare schemes, the welfare class and the department of tribal welfare scheduled, in Bantara.

Social and Class Welfare Reverse Minister of Welfare Shrinivas Poojari told the media here on Friday, that the workshop will be held jointly by the administrative district of Dakshina Kannada, Zilla Panchayat, and the tribal welfare department that has been proposed to carry out such workshops in all districts throughout Karnataka, he said, added that the workshop would also be held in the Udupi district.
The Chairman of the Basavaraj Minister of Bommai, Minister of the State Union for Justice and Social Empowerment A Narayanaswamy, Transportation and Minister of Welfare B Sriramulu, Minister of Fisheries Angara, Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and Bantwal Mla Rajesh U rises will be guests in the Bantwal program.
This morning session included an information session after the premiere, followed by the interaction program in the afternoon session, Poojari said, and urged all members elected from urban and rural local agencies in the district to attend the workshop.
