One person died and seven others were injured in the shooting at the Grambling State University in Louisiana early on Sunday, the two deadly incidents on campus in less than a week, said the school.
One of the injured is a student at the University, while the rest is not, the states are posted on Twitter.
Shooting lasts around 1am.
During the Homecoming weekend, he said.
Further homecoming shows planned for Sunday was canceled, and the class was canceled for Monday and Tuesday.
The curfew was forced on campus from 9:30 a.m.
Up to 6 am until further notice, the school said.
The shooting came only a few days after a non-student was shot fatally by the other non-students on Wednesday in front of the Union Building for the University of Favrot, said State Grambling.
Two students escaped from this area suffered injuries that did not threaten the soul on Wednesday.
The incident also occurred around 1am, the official said.
The university said on Wednesday will increase security on campus after the shooting.
Louisiana state police, who were investigating the two incidents, said the two shootings were believed to be unrelated.
Agency said he had identified Jatavious Carroll, 18, also known as “rabbit,” as a suspect in Wednesday’s shooting.
