Greater Noida: A 35-year-old driver replaces the flat tire from Ertiga destroyed to death when a truck that quickly hit a car from behind on the Yamuna toll road in the Danka area on Saturday.
The accident also left three women in the third person in severe injured, police said.
The accident occurred at around 4 in the morning when Hathras Resident Naeem and five family members returned home after attending a family event at a relative house in Ghaziabad.
He was accompanied by his wife Ruby, Sisters-in-law Reena and license, and two small children.
The family returned to their homes in the Hathras area at Sikandra Rao when one of the tires from Ertiga they were stabbed near the University of Galgotias along the Yamuna freeway.
The car was driven by their driver, Farukkh, who also belonged to their village at Sikandra Rao.
“Farukkh parked the car and started changing tires.
After changing the tire, Farukkh kept being stabbed in the boot car when a truck approached from behind crashing into our third,” said Naeem.
The impact of the accident was such that Farukkh was sandwiched between the two vehicles, which resulted in a serious injury in the leg and head, said Naeem.
Ruby, Reena and license, who are in the car, have serious injuries too.
The police were told and four were taken to a private hospital in Greater Noida, where Farukkh was declared dead.
Dankur police then filed a beginner against the truck driver who had escaped from the place.
Arvind Pathak, Sho Dankaur, told Tii, “the truck has been confiscated.
